Greetings!
No, it's not me in the photo. These orphaned squirrels were my charges from August - October 2009, when they were weaned and old enough to go into a large release cage outside.
I am a certified wildlife rehabilitator. I've been foster mom to about 30 orphan mammals over the past three years. I am a home-based so I do not take in vast numbers, but I like to think I provide quality care and nurturing to animals devastated by the loss of their mom. Wildlife rehabbing can get expensive, they grow up fast, gradually get acclimated to the wild and leave with nary a thought. But it is one of the most rewarding things I have done.
Selling helps me pay for supplies such as Pet Ag's Esbilac (formula), bedding, chew toys, food and medicine. The need is great: Florida's precious natural resources have suffered from years of unrestrained growth.
I am no mega seller or drop shipper. Nothing leaves here that I don't pack myself and know all about. My goal is happy customers! I have bought items online and I know what it's like from that side. Yes! I am always happy to combine shipping. I can fit numerous DVDs in a flat rate envelope. Customers deserve no less. I think smaller sellers like me can put more TLC into our service and products. I hope to add more items but I am a newbie to Ebid as of now, Oct. 25, 2009 so I will see how it goes.
