Although I'm new to eBid I have been selling on another venue for years. You can check my 1200+ feedback over there under midorimeadowsllc.

I specialize in motor start and run capacitors but sell many different things including books, soy candles, and baseball collectibles.

I've had many people ask me what our company name means.  When I first tried to name my company I spent many hours sitting on my back porch staring out across my meadow. I tried many different words to try to describe my life. There it was sitting in front of me. Green Meadows. Hmmm, that wasn't quite poetic and unique though. So I thought a little more and decided that since the company represented my life what better way than to use the language of my heritage. Midori is green in Japanese. I'm a fifth generation Japanese and while I don't speak any nor have I ever been to Japan, I'm still well aware of my culture.

As many of my long time customers remember, the picture above is off my old back porch. Times sure have a way of changing. I sold my beautiful farm and now live in the city of Yamhill. This house isn't as fun since I have a normal city lot. Well, sort of normal. I still have a small flock of hens in the back along with a rabbit. Hopefully in the near future we'll be able to return to the countryside.

My husband was born and raised in the neighboring town of Carlton and has never really left. We hope to finish raising all five of our kids in or around our town. We are actually down to four at home since our oldest joined the Navy and is now serving our country overseas. Yamhill has a population of about 950 and it's sort like Mayberry from the old Andy Griffith show.

Having recently joined the ranks of stay at home moms I now have more time to pursue the great deals I have always provided my customers. Our four kids that are still at home are all teenagers and are really glad I have something to do so they aren't stuck with me all the time.
