My name is Becky. I am glad that I have done some research on Ebid, and I am glad to see that this is a great alternative to Ebay for buyers and sellers.
I am learning new things everyday, and hope to give better services as I learn the techniques.
I had been a member and Ebay store for approximately 6 1/2 years. The name of my Ebay store was Great Lakes Treasure chest. The main line of sales were antiques and collectibles from glasswares to toys. Out of the 6 1/2 years that I maintained my Ebay store I have only had a total of 3 negative feedbacks. I had also successfully opened and operated a small Ebay store for a friend whom owned an area antique shop in the mid-michigan area, she maintained the Ebay store for approximately 1 year with no negative feedbacks, before selling her business.
I grew up in a home where my mother and father were Antique dealers. I have been amaturely collecting for at least 25-30 years, however, I have only been selling for approximately 7 years.
I began selling some of my collections on Ebay to help support myself because I had an accident where I could no longer work in my career field. I had returned to college full-time to learn a new career, but sadly I had to close my Ebay store, because the fee's were to excessive.
Life is great with Ebid, now I can re-open the store and pass on the savings and products once again. Thank you!
