We are originally from Washington State, been here in Las Vegas for 8 years.  I'm semi-retired, managed Poker Rooms for the last 20 years.  I've been doing Intarsia the last 10 years and decided if I made my own drawings and patterns I would enjoy it alot more and feel that it was something I created.  A brief description of INTARSIA;  Intarsia is thought to have been developed during thirteenth century Renaissance period in Siena, Italy.  The process was defived from the MIddle Eastern inlays of ivory upon wood.  It has gained popularity in the last 15 to 20 years.  Each piece is individually cut, countoured, sanded many times, and put together to form a picture.  A sealing finish is applied to preserve and enhance the Exotic Wood.  In the hands of an artist, very beautiful effects can be created by choice of wood type, color, tone and by arrangement of grain direction.  Each Intarsia creation is a 'ONE-OF-A-KIND', it is impossible (or close to) to duplicate a piece of work.

Our shipping prices have minor handling charges to cover supplies.  Handling for Intarsia is alittle move expensive because it cost me around $10 in Styrofoam to protect the handcrafted items to ensure no breakage and also included is Insurance depending on where shipped.  International shipping Insurance is only available on certain shipping methods.
