I have been a member here since December 2006 but to my shame, completely inactive a lot of this time. I am an on/off buyer and small private seller as my sort of stuff takes many listings to find that one buyer who wants something 'one off'  so that can get very expensive in listing fees at 'the other place'.  I still look out for their free listing days  as I want to sell some things there and try and drag people over here! I have really enjoyed my contact with buyers and have met some lovely people online.  My photo is hopelessly out of date but I am unable to upload a new one as it keeps being rejected so my younger me is depicted!

I will be selling (I hope) some of the many etchings, lithographs and engravings that I have collected over the years.  I bought a lot of these nearly twenty years ago when I was setting up our holiday cottage in the Cotswolds (google Sansome House Cottage!) as I aim for the small country house look and did NOT want a 'prints for pleasure' sort of interior decoration.  The walls are festooned with original art, mostly limited edition signed prints, some watercolours and oils. I ring the changes so that my return visitors have something new to look at and periodically sell off stuff that I either don't like or don't have room for.  Most of the etchings and paintings that I sell are unframed as they so much easier to post, some pictures are mounted, some not, but if I have left them framed, I take enormous care with packaging. I do try and avoid posting glass though if at all possible and for that reason am happy to have someone collect. I have a number of small prints which are single pages taken from books.  These are at the much cheaper end of the market.  Please be assured that I would NEVER take apart a good book in order to use the pictures.  These are books where the binding has fallen apart already and some of the covers even missing. 

I am practically glued to my computer because I pride myself on answering booking queries for my cottage within hours, if not minutes so there never should be any significant delay if you email me. Please feel free to ask any questions but I don't claim to be an expert on anything.

I hope to find time to photograph and list all the many interesting things I want to sell.  I have a collection of approximately 600 classical records and CDs and a huge collection of pottery and porcelain cleared from my late parents in law's house of which I have only listed a few so far.  I am also slimming down the book collections. 

I am quick to dispatch and pack carefully, but if there is any delay after payment, for any reason, I will let you know immediately.  By the way, I should say that I have a logo on some of my listings which ostensibly shows when I last logged on I am not sure this is accurate.  I am updating this now April 2024 in the hopes I can find time to list some more - my last sale was several years ago.
