I am Ray from Baltimore, Maryland.  Like most old collectors, I began as a small child with a penny collection.  Over the next 50+ years I managed to fill many complete type collections and amass a personal inventory of thousands of US coins.  I started selling on eBay in November of 2003.

Baltimore is the coin collecting capital of the United States, playing host to three major coin conventions every year.  Living in Baltimore allows me to purchase quality, guaranteed genuine coins from reputable dealers at a greatly reduced cost.  I pass my savings on to my Internet customers.

I am new to the eBid community, but by the time I finally closed my eBay store in March of 2010 I had achieved the rank of Power Seller with close to 900 positive feedbacks, which translated to purple star.  My rating was100% positive with zero neutral and/or negative feedbacks.

I attribute my eBay success to my honesty in describing my products (sometimes too much so), my willingness to respond quickly to inquiries, my quick shipping turnaround, and my packaging, which is designed to give the maximum protection to the product at the lowest possible cost.  (Coins are usually mailed USPS first class parcel post in a padded mailer.)  My policy is to treat each sale as a special order for a special customer.
