Welcome to "About Me".  I have been an avid Internet Auction seller since 1997 and a Doll Doctor since 1973. 

I buy, sell and repair/restore dolls of all types. My specialty is repairing soft-bodied talking dolls such as Mrs. Beasley.  I also redress, restring, rewig, repaint and resurface vintage and antique dolls.  I no longer re-surface composition dolls.

While you are here, if you don't see what you are looking for just let me know, cause I have a lot of nice Himstedt, Funicello, rare bears & dolls, Patti Play Pal too!  Hard Plastic...you name it, Madame Alexander (my favorite), Cissy, Lissy and Elise.  Cool stuff from ages past.  Toys for boys of all sizes; planes, trains and automobiles!  Vintage clothing from all places.  If I don't have it , it's only a matter of time till I will.  So much inventory, so little time to list it all.

Payment Information: DO NOT USE THE CHECK OUT FEATURE. I will email you with info and postage costs at the end of the auction.  If you don't recieve an email within 24 hours after the close of the auction, you may have an overly agressive spam filer.  Adjust your email account settings and then contact me for information. 

 If you don't tell me, and the item does not arrive in time for you, that is not grounds for a refund.  Payment must be recieved within 10 (ten) business days of the end of the sale unless we agree on other arrangements. I am not responsible for the item arriving, or arriving in damaged condition, if you do not choose to purchase insurance. Please note that an item that is sent Parcel Post, without insurance, does not have a tracking number.  I always use a Delivery Confirmation.  I will be sending the item via USPS Parcel Post (or first class if the package is small enough) unless you otherwise specify.  Pay by Pay Pal. Please email me with any questions that you may have. 

Sales Tax:  If you are a Texas resident, please include an additional .083% for state sales tax. 

Refunds:  All sales are final, so please ask questions before purchasing.  If the item was not accurately described, and we agree on that, then I will issue a refund for the purchase price of the item. If the item arrives and is missing something, please contact me at once.  I do my best to pack everything as if it were being sent to me, but sometimes mistakes happen.  I promise to rectify that situation ASAP.  You must let me know if you need your item by a certain date.  If you don't let me know, and the item arrives late for your purposes, that is not grounds for a refund.  Buyer's remorse is not a valid reason for returning an item.

Shipping:  I combine items for shipping to save on postage! Insurance on items costing less than $20 is optional.  However if you choose not to purchase insurance, and the item is lost in the mail or arrives in damaged condition, I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE.  I strongly urge you to take advantage of the opportunity of insuring your item! 

Feedback:   I do leave feedback; sometimes not as promptly as you would like.  As it is only me doing this, I have a limited amount of time to work on feedback.  Don't worry, it will be left.  Usually it is very good indeed, but if you do not pay for your item and don't communicate with me, then don't count on your feedback being glowing.

Stuff Happens:  Sometimes bad stuff happens and you cannot honor your contract with me.  Please let me know immediately.  This is my livelyhood and your communications will make it easier all the way around for both of us!

BJ...ball jointed, BK - bent knee, BKW - bent knee walker, CM - closed mouth, MIB - mint in box, MOC - mint on card, MIP - mint in package, MNB - mint no box, NRFB - never removed from box, GWTW - gone with the wind, HH - human hair, HP - hard plastic, NASD - nancy ann story book, SOM - sound of music.  Hope that this helps!
