Everything you need to know about buying from Printaholics
The following Terms apply to all Printaholics auctions, Buy it Nows and shop items unless otherwise varied by individual eBay listings. Details in individual listings will take precedence over these terms if different from the following.
We want to ensure that you, the customer, are happy with your purchases from Printaholics. Before placing your bid or using Buy it Now, please use 'ask the seller a question' if you have any queries whatsoever, that aren't answered here.
Please note that we are a business and that we are normally only available during business hours although at busy times of year we do work some rather unusual hours and that in order to be able to continue to offer low volume orders at large volume prices we can only deal online through email or eBay messaging. Please do not ask us to phone unless it is regarding a matter that really cannot be dealt with in any other way.
Please note that all of our auctions and shop items are priced in British Pounds Sterling £ (GBP).
We accept Paypal, Bank Transfers, Cheques (UK banks only) and British Post Office Postal orders in British £ sterling (GBP) only. Please include the ebay item number and / or your ebay ID with your payment.
Please note that the above are the ONLY payment methods that we are able to accept for sales as we do not have a facility to take credit / debit cards directly or by phone / mail.
After the Auction
An automated eBay email is sent as soon as you purchase with full details for payment..
If you are buying a standard design item with no personalisation options then no further information is required. Where there is an option ie. size or a name that can be added and you wish to take advantage of this, please include the information either in a message to us or with your payment in the paypal notes box.
As the majority of our products require customisation and therefore details from you, delivery timescales are dependent on receiving your details as well as the volume of orders. Once we have your details, we aim to post all purchases within 7 days subject to cleared payment having been received. Most orders are completed much quicker, although at busy times of year eg Christmas this cannot be guaranteed. We will email to confirm item despatch in all cases.
For quickest delivery please use Paypal online payment method, as we always wait for cheques to be cleared before despatch and new style postal orders are also treated as cheques by our bank due to the large number of forgeries circulating.
In all cases we recommend that you order as soon as possible if an item is required by a specific date in order to avoid disappointment as at busy times it may not be possible for us to speed individual orders through the system. If an item is time critical please ask before ordering.
Shipping / P&P Rates
All goods are sent using packaging appropriate to the item ordered and by the most appropriate shipping method. We are always prepared to quote reduced P&P rates for multiple purchases where possible although with the new Post Office pricing in proportion, please note that sometimes combined packages cost more than individual items to send ie where a total package weight goes over 1kg (3 standard mugs in packaging is over 1kg).
In the unfortunate instance that a package is lost we will provide a replacement item automatically but please note that the British Post Office will not accept a parcel as lost until 15 working days after posting. In line with British consumer law we send replacement items and only refund in exceptional circumstances in these cases
All of our items are checked prior to despatch and posted in appropriate packaging. In the unfortunate event of a problem with your purchase please email us as soon as possible with full details.
Please note that the majority of our items are custom made or personalised items and are therefore exempt from the normal distance selling regulations. Returns can only be accepted on these items if incorrect or faulty. Please ask before returning any item to establish if a return is acceptable.
Faulty or incorrect items will be replaced and return postage refunded. For non customised items returns can be made but must be returned in as sold condition with original packaging. Refunds in these cases will be less the original p&p charge and return postage to us will be the customers responsibility.
Please note that all items are individually hand printed and that small variances beyond our control will occur on some items, for example, in colour match or saturation or in alignment on items that are not always a regular size or shape. We use sophisticated software to correct this as much as possible prior to printing but some variances do occasionally remain. In particular please note that in printing on fabric particularly there is no such thing as a true black as with most 4 colour print processes black is made up of parts of all 4 colours and depending on original source may have a bias towards one of those colours.
Please advise us by email before returning any item to confirm that a return is acceptable.
As many of our customers purchase items from us as gifts and may therefore wish to keep their purchase as secret as possible, we make it a policy to only leave feedback after it has been left for us and we have our eBay preferences set to automatically do this. Unfortunately it is not possible for us to go through all those for which we have not received feedback and selectively 'guess' which want to remain private and which are simply waiting for us to leave feedback first. We are always mindful that eBay feedback is voluntary rather than compulsory and not a requirement on the part of either buyer or seller. We sell personalised gift items not feedback so it really doesn't worry us if we don't get feedback from all of our customers hence you will never get a feedback reminder email from us (unless eBay goes horribly wrong with its auto email system!)

We're nice friendly people and will do our best to help although we are a business and therefore aren't here 24/7 although we do work some odd hours at times! If we get your question in time before the end of the auction, you will get a response from us. Best time for an answer is the usual Monday to Friday 'office hours'.
