Hi my name is Chris & I live in Westcliff-on-Sea in Essex, with my two dogs & my cat.
I love to read especially Sci-Fi & Fantasy, I'm also into genealogy, when I get the time.

Both of my dogs are "Rescues" from "Dogs Trust" at Snetterton Norfolk. Whisper, the mainly white one, was born there in 2002. Fudge, the mainly brown one, & his brother were abandoned in Wales back in 2003 when they were 5 weeks old.

What I Sell

I decided it was about time I had a big clear out, (to make room for more books) and am selling off some of the books I no longer read, or have replaced with hardback's, or have been given & don't really like, or I've somehow got duplicates of, (don't ask, it happens).

I'm also selling some magazines, a few CD's and some retro computer stuff.

Most of the Thrillers & Women's Fiction plus the China and Ornaments, belonged to my late mother. I didn't realise just how many books she had, some she hadn't even read.

Some of the older items were my late father's & have been packed away for some time.

There are also some books, magazines & other bits & pieces I inherited when my neighbour died a couple of years ago.

I intend to list some of the excess, new & second hand infant & toddler clothing I bought for, my gt niece & nephew, which they grew too fast to wear. So far I've only got as far as naming the shop.

Payment

For Buyers in the UK I accept payment by, Google Checkout, Paypal, Moneybookers, Nochex, Pppay, Cheque or Postal Order.
For existing customers I'm also happy to use Bank Transfer.
Buyers from Europe I accept payment by Google Checkout, Moneybookers, Pppay or Paypal.
Buyers from the Rest of the World I accept payment by Google Checkout, Moneybookers or Paypal.

Postage & Packing

I try & keep my postal charges as low as possible, so to that end use a mixture of new & second hand packaging.
I usually post the day after payment clears but only Monday to Friday, as I work nights, & don't often get up before the Post Office closes on Saturday.

For UK sales I offer a choice of 1st or 2nd class postage for most individual items, for multiple items the 2nd class option may need to be replaced with parcel post, heavier parcels are sent via courier.
For Europe & the Rest of the World The estimated delivery time for Airmail is 2 to 5 days.
Currently all mail to the USA is taking longer than usual, due to delays by US Customs.
I no longer offer surface mail as an option for individual items, due to complaints about the lenght of time deliveries were taking.

Multiple Item Postage Discount

I'm always happy to combine postage for multiple purchases across my stores providing it will work out cheaper for the buyer. This is not just a small token discount, I weigh all the items together & price accordingly. In some instances it's cheaper to send more than one parcel, if this is the case I'll let you know.

Returns

To be eligible for a refund, you must return your item to me in the same condition you received it, and the return must be postmarked within ten days of receipt. Postage costs for returning any item are borne by the buyer, unless the item has faults, or damage, not mentioned in the item listing.

Terms

Payment within 7 days please, if you have a problem, for example electronic payment verification, please contact me via the AAL or email.
If your item hasn't arrived within a reasonable time, your first stop should be your local sorting office, in case it's stuck there. If you have no luck there please get back to me & I'll do my best to sort things out, I always obtain proof of posting.
Any other problems please contact me as soon as possible. I cannot sort out a problem I know nothing about & I really don't bite.
