GLJ and Associates, Inc.
GLJones and Associates, INC, has been in business since 1992. We have been involved in e-commerce for the last 11 years. We are a small, family operated business in central Illinois, enjoying the rural life while competing in a global market. We have many brands of quality products shipped direct for the manufacturer from our great suppliers to all over the world; Many other products' inventories, we manage ourselves.
General Company Policies Returns/Refunds: Any returns are the customers responsibility in all cases. All returns must be in their original manufacturers' packaging. Items returned to GLJones and Associates are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Shipping, Insurance, Handling, and tracking costs incurred by GLJones and Associates are not refundable. Orders returned must have insurance and tracking. Any insurance, tracking or handling charges will not be reimbursed by GLJones and Associates, unless we are at fault(you recieved the wrong order, for example). Damages, other than those specified for the order's return by the customer, found on returned orders will be charged an actual or estimated fee for the damages and will be deducted from the refund. Refunds of any kind are paid by the end of the month following an auctions' closing or within 30 days after the date of a returned item. If any items, being returned, are not returned within 30 days of initiating a refund, GLJones and Associates will no longer honor the return request. Refunds will be paid either by company check or through Paypal (minus Paypal fees) at the discretion of GLJones and Associates. Refunds on Dura-Trel, Panacea and Polytex products may be given based on the decision of their respective manufacturers; If they will not refund GLJones and Associates, GLJones and Associates will not refund any monies on that product. You will forfeit any claims to refunds when negative feedback is given to photomorials before your claim process is completed. Returned orders listed with free shipping are subject to all these conditions. You must aquire a RAN(return authorization number) from us before returning your order or part of your order. Returns without an RAN will not be honored. International Returns: International shipments are unreturnable. Any international shipments returned to us by a postal entity for any reason will not be accepted by us. A 20% restocking fee and all charges incurred by GLJones & Associates, Inc for the return of any shipment will be deducted from any monies due a customer on any return shipment. If they are to be shipped out again, any extra charges incurred by GLJones & Associates, Inc. must be reimbursed by the addressee and a return shipping cost must be paid on that shipment. Shipping: Cost of shipping is normally at a fixed price for shipping in the continental US. This price includes insurance, tracking and handling. Orders are normally shipped ground. GLJones and Associates or our suppliers will use USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL or others at our discretion, so we need your physical address for delivery. Please include your telephone number for our waybills; It can sometimes mean the difference of a service driver finding your address and a delay in delivery. Shipping can be expedited for extra fees, if you wish. We are not responsible for delays or damage in shipping or a lost shipment due to circumstances outside of our control, but we will actively work to locate your order and get it to you. As you can see by our feedback, our shipping is PDQ, but we like for you to allow up to 3 weeks to recieve your order. Some of our suppliers fill hundreds of orders daily and we submit your order the day the invoice is paid. If we carry your item in our warehouses, we ship it either Tuesday or Friday. If you have paid by Friday- Monday afternoon, your order will ship on Tuesday. If you paid Tuesday-Thursday afternoon, your order will ship on Friday. We always strive to keep our shipping schedule, but again, we always recommend allowing three weeks for delivery. International orders' shipping costs will include the cost of shipping your order to our location, if necessary, and the cost of forwarding your shipment to your country. The reciept you recieve may indicate less than you paid for shipping and only reflect the cost of shipping from our location to your country. Using Buy It Now for free shipping: For items listed with free shipping. Please wait for an amended invoice before paying to recieve free shipping. If you pay an invoice before it is amended, the shipping charge will be included, but you will be refunded the shipping price through Paypal, less the Paypal fees for the refund. We send these refunds at the end of the following month from the date that the auction closed or possibly sooner, at our discretion. Exceptions on returns: There are no returns on Antiques, collectables or chandeliers. Any antiques or collectables we advertise are described to the best of our ability, disclose any flaws and we use many pictures. We hold no claim to be experts on any antique or collectable. We assume that you are the expert since you are interested in bidding on the item and should know any questions to ask to satisfy your curiosity about the item before you bid. These are sold as is, where is. We are always glad to answer any questions and send you some additional pictures if you need them. New chandeliers are non-returnable because of the delicate nature of the product. However, we will replace any part broken in shipment or any piece missing in your order for free. Expenses for removal or reinstallation of defective or returned products will not be reimbursed by GLJones and Associates. Dura-Trel, Panacea, Uniflame, CobraCo, Landman-USA and Polytex products' returns are based on their companies' warranties on their products; If they will not accept a return on a product for any reason, we do not accept a return on that product. Damaged shipments: We will replace or initiate and follow through with claims for damage under the conditions of our products' warranties or guarantees allowed by our suppliers or GLJones & Associates. You will forfeit any claims to refunds when negative feedback is given to photomorials before your claim process is completed. Brackets and Bike racks damaged in shipment will be replaced for free. Just let us know and send a picture of the damage so we can make sure we replace the correct style of bracket or rack. We will replace broken parts for our antique lighting if we have a duplicate. If we don't have a duplicate part, we will file claims for damage in shipment on antique lighting with the shipper. If the shipper doesn't cover the claim ;we will not cover the claim. Once a claim is paid to us and we recieve the damaged product back at our location, GLJones and Associates will reimburse the customer accordingly. Occasionally, we list items for people outside of our company. We hold no claim to be experts on any of these items. We describe these items to the best of our ability, list any flaws we see and use alot of pictures. We assume that you are the expert since you are interested in bidding on the item and should know any questions to ask to satisfy your curiosity about the item before you bid. We will be glad to send additional pictures to you as well. Personalized Signs and Plaques Because the sign or plaque has been personalized to an individual customer and cannot be resold, they cannot be returned and no refunds will be given. *GLJones and Associates, INC., reserves the right to change anything contained in our company policies in order to better serve our great customers and have our orders processed smoothly.
