It is taking time for us to build up a high ebid feedback score as many buyers choose not to leave feedback, we assume they have received their items safely as we not not hear to the contrary but positive feedback for our quality of goods and speedy service is much appreciated especially in our early days on ebid.

The 10x8 photos are all printed on high quality photo paper, they are not multiple-produced reprints and only one copy of each photo is available.  In a separate category we also have budget photos which are printed on finer paper but still as beautiful.

 

In most cases, books have only been read once, they are all in mint condition, unless otherwise stated.

Postcards for sale are not vintage (except where stated) and are mostly in mint condition.

We are not typically a *business*, we are simply selling a very large collection of movie memorabilia which has been collected over past decades.  Where items are marked *new* we have simply stored the items safely and have never actually used them for any particular reason.  Our photographs are immaculate.

 

Please note: postage costs incorporate not only the actual postage price but also the cost of envelopes, plastic pockets for large photos and bubble wrap where appropriate.

And who is behind Hollywood Forever:

Julie: I run the store online, list items and generally look after the customers with prompt replies to questions and ensuring every item is packaged perfectly.  Most of the items for sale here are from my own private collection.  This is a part-time job/hobby for me as I work for an Independent Financial Adviser in the City Centre.

Carole: the post-mistress, everything that is posted is carefully looked after until it leaves our hands.  All satisfied customers can thank Carole when their item arrives at their door quickly after payment is made.  She stands in queues almost daily and annoys the Post Office staff with constant requests for proof of posting. 

 

 

We love it when customers' are happy with their purchase, and we appreciate all feedback.  Feedback serves not only to tell other buyers what your thoughts are but it also tells us that you have received your item safely and we can shred the certificate of posting that we keep.  You have NO IDEA how many of these certificates Carole has lying around her house due to buyers who haven't left feedback....  We leave feedback when the buyer leaves it for us, we're happy when you're happy.

We have had a successful shop with ebay for many years and have now defected to ebid since ebays fees have increased substantially.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

FAQ 1: When can I expect my order to arrive?
Your item will usually be despatched within 2 working days of receiving cleared payment, although we aim to despatch the next working day where ever possible (from 11 May 09 Monday posting will no longer be available as the local Post Office is changing it's opening hours) 

FAQ 2: What is your return policy?
Items may be returned at the customers discretion, full refund will be given for the purchase price only, the cost of postage paid to send the item to you or for you to return the item to us will not be refunded. If payment is made by PayPal we reserve the right to refund the amount received, i.e. the cost of the item less charges

FAQ 3: Do you combine shipping?
We do combine shipping and are happy to give discounted postage to all customers. If buying multiple items and paying by PayPal all items must be paid in one transaction to benefit from the postage discounts. 

FAQ 4: Can you tell me what the combined shipping cost will be before I purchase?
Yes we can, email us and tell us how many photos/other items you want and we will calculate a cost for you.  We have detailed spreadsheets of weight, packaging costs and Royal Mail charges and WE DO NOT OVERCHARGE

FAQ 5: Do you ship internationally?
We will only ship internationally by AirSure which is more expensive than AirMail but is a guaranteed service and if an item does not arrive, we can make a claim.  If you live overseas, please contact us and we will confirm the cost of shipping to your destination before you bid or buy.

FAQ 6: What do I do if my item does not arrive?
You will receive email confirmation of when your item was posted so you should expect to receive your purchase within two workings days (applies to UK first class only). If you do not receive it, please check with your local postal depot, they may have tried to deliver and have returned it if it would not fit through your letterbox. After 15 days we can claim via proof of posting

FAQ 7: What do I do if my item arrives damaged?
All items are posted in 100% perfect condition (unless listing states otherwise), if it is damaged when it reaches you must raise a claim with Royal Mail, they may ask for sight of the goods and packaging. We will provide you with all the details you need to support the claim, ie when/where posted etc. We cannot claim on your behalf
