Description: Popular home garden vegetable. Quick growing and high yielding. Produces abundant clusters of plump tear-shaped fruits. Fine quality and sweet flavoured. Great for casseroles and salads. Pick while still small for best flavour. Sow after frosts. Sow 20mm deep, in rows 70cm apart. Space plants 70cm apart. Prefers well-drained soil, though not heavily fertilised. Keep moist. Take care when hoeing not to damage shallow root system.
