Found some fabulous needlework books yesterday at an estate auction last weeks. A few have a bit of damage but will be priced to sell and of course are great for personal use.

Beautiful 2007 book of Wallcovering Secrets by Brian Santos. Published by Meridith Books. Total of 187 pages.

You probably browse the wallpaper aisle and think how beautiful that would look on the walls. But doing it NEATLY is a whole different story. Now is your chance, Brian Santos is Mr. Wallpaper, he knows every trick in the book.

Book covers different possibilities for papering, material selection, preparation, application, and finishing touches.

Mr. Santos even admits mistakes, this is my kind of guy! As you may have guessed by the chapters above, most of the work is in the prepartion and planning before you start the job. It was a surprise to me that he advices specing out the room, plotting an outline of room, BEFORE you start. I guess I would have just started and gone into a panic when I got to a hard section.

Another surprise is his advice to apply caulk all around the room. That gives paper something to grip on and helps you cut the edges easier! Makes sense.

Condition: like new condition. No rips, tears or damage.
