VIOLET CHINTZ - demi cup and saucer – LEFTON
This is a DEMITASSE CUP AND SAUCER in the famous VIOLET CHINTZ pattern. They are made by LEFTON China and have a gold trim on the rim of both the cup and saucer with tiny violets and green leaves inside the saucer and outside the cup. The cup has gold trim around the base and on the handle. The cup is approximately 2 1/4" tall and 3" across. The saucer is approximately 4 3/4".
Both are handpainted with the well known blue and gold crown like those used 1956-1967 and the number 1512V on the bottom.
These appear to be in excellent condition as I find no chips, cracks, crazing or gold loss.
