VIOLET CHINTZ - compote - LEFTON
This is a beautiful VIOLET CHINTZ COMPOTE made by LEFTON and it is one of the HARDER TO FIND items. It has dainty violets with green leaves on the inside of the dish and gold trim around the scalloped rim and on the detachable pedestal. There is a gold floral design combined with lattice work on the side of the bowl.
This compote is approximately 4 ¼” tall and 7 ½” across and has the famous blue and red crown used 1956-1967, a red with gold Lefton label used 1956-1966 and the number KF650V on the bottom of both the bowl and the pedestal.
This compote appears to be in excellent condition, as I can find no gold loss, chips, cracks or crazing.
