Found a few really nice older pieces of unframed but stitched embroidery pieces at a recent auction. I will list all separately.

Nice sized 20x22" darker cream colored cotton background with rayon embroidery threads.

Design: Huge eagle clutching a draped American flag. He is very detailed, lots of brown feathers, white head, and big beak. Flag is beautifully draped.

Not sure of age, purpose etc on this one. Looks like an embroidered piece for a VFW post? Or maybe for another service group? I think it appears to be 1940s so is maybe 1940s WWII era, but I am no expert.

Would make a beautiful pillow, tapestry/wall hanging, framed picture etc.

Colors: dark cream color (beige w/ yellow tinge) with dark brown, red, yellow, gold, blue and white shiney rayon threads.

Condition: very good for its age. Look unused. No rips,or tears. But some smudging around corners, probaby from years of storage. A gentle soak in an enzyme cleaner like Biz or Oxyclean will get this sparkling and ready to frame.

Beautiful manly looking eagle and American flag on this one. Perfect gift.
