Vintage Victorian Brass Hand Clip ~ Paper Holder ~ Paper Weight
Solid brass desk clip / document holder / paper weight.
Marked 'Made in Italy'.
Measures 5.25" x 3".
The springs are perfectly tight, even though a small screw on one side is missing (see photo). The fourth photo shows the only tiny flaw (round, near thumb). There is no age related verdigris or patina.
I polished this item for a few minutes before taking photos. If I get the chance to polish this a bit more I will update photos.
