I found a great batch of advertising/recipe items at a new local estate sales. These little free booklets are from the 1920s thru 1950s and are a little slice of yesterday. Definitely we don't eat like this today!

This is an Abbott Laboratories Sucaryl recipe booklet from 1958. This is the pink package stuff that is only powdered today. In the 1950s it was a liquid and a tablet.

Booklet has 30 pages packed with recipes. Smaller size, about 3x4". Nice photos in color and recipes of course in this one.

Includes a bit of everything, soup, salad, and even canning food using this artificial sweetner. Includes recipes for banana nut bread,breakfast coffee cake, chocolate and lemon sauces, orange pineapple sherbert and lots more.

Condition: good for its age. Some smudges and light water mark on the back cover. Tiny bit of wear to spine and edges of paper.

Excellent booklet to add to your collection.
