Pair of Beautiful Vintage1950s Salt and Pepper Shakers Pots: Sweet Little Bunnies marked Salty and Peppy - what little cuties and such detail, each has a ceramic rose on its head, gold toes, pink accents (she is carrying a little pink handbag) and he has little gold suspender (braces)
Stamped with black lettering JAPAN

Found some beautiful pair of salt and pepper shakers pots at a recent estate auction. All were from one household and all were in beautiful shape for their age. I am guessing they are from the 1950s because of the detail and workmanship.

Excellent 3 1/2" shakers to decorate your table or add to your collection. Sweet little bunnies that are truely doing bunny stuff. She has a little apron with gold bow, buttons, a rose and leaf on her head and a little pink purse. He is wearing a more manly outfit, overalls with suspenders. But he has a rose and a leaf on his head too. Their ears are going every which way. The boy is marked "salty" and the girl is marked "peppy". Very appropriate.

Made from ceramic or china like material with glossy white finish. Lots of embossed and additional ceramic details like the rose and leaf on their heads. Gold accents on apron bow, suspenders, and feet.

Color: white glossy ceramic china with pink, yellow, green, and gold accents.

Measurements: 3 1/2" high, base approximately 1 1/2" wide.

Condition: very good for its age. No cracks, or chips. No crazing either. Look a little grubby but I will leave the cleaning to you. Bottoms have the usual roughness but no damage except smudging. NO stoppers. These are stamped with black lettering JAPAN.
