20 Vintage 50s Christmas Cards: Elf Snowman Santa Deer

Found a huge case of greeting cards at an estate sale.  All from same estate, mostly Christmas cards, with a few others thrown in, this is a wonderful group of cards from 1950 thru 1970s.  Because there are almost 100, I am listing them in larger batches.  Since I am no card expert, I roughly split them into piles for each era.  Some were easy to classify, hot pinks/flowers/peace, but others not so much.  Sometimes inside had date, sometimes not.   All are in beautiful shape, used with Christmas messages, no envelopes, but every charming and ready for display and/or collecting. 

Nice assortment  of 20 cards, with a few cards that I suspect are late 1940s mixed in with the 1950s ones.  All smaller sized, largest is maybe 4x6", others much smaller 3x4".  This lady kept all cards she received so quiet an assortment of Norcross, Forget me not, Hallmark brands.  Some charity groups printed the cards too.

Victorian look with carollers, full table, etc. parchment paper

Snowman with candy cane - nephew card,  Hallmark with sparkles on it from Uncle Stan

Sled and two reindeer - flocking - funny message from "Rose" - she describes her various ailments, they have a new car but she is too sick to ride in it, have a nice holiday, call me I'm lonely, etc.  Deer fold out on this one, no manuf. name

Blue margin, angels singing to baby Jesus - Original design by Piancentini, Made in USA, sent by nun to family

Santa giving ride to dog in his sleigh -  santa falls down in inside - from Susan, no manuf. name

Bell and pinecones, typical of 1950s cards - Norcross

Bow, holly, pineneedles and ornaments with sparkles. Hallmark

Bird on holly branch - Sunshine card

Blue border, Holy family, dated 1954, Servants of Mary brand card

Border of holly, pinecones, with old fashioned Merry Christmas with sparkles, no manuf. name

Two little elves handing up stockings - Coronation brand

and lots more.

Condition: very good condition for being 60 years old.  One card with slight bend on one end, otherwise they are flat, clean, no smells or dust.  Stored well and ready to display.
