Vintage 1950s Printed Cotton Tablecloth: 26x32" Shades of Green w/ Vases, pears, pineapples, grapes and all manner of goodies

I went to an estate sale on Wednesday and found many pretty tablecloths, all from one estate.
Lots of printed cloths, some tinted damask and embroidery too.

Beautiful little tablecloth is 26x32", printed with one of the most popular 1950s motifs kitchen or eating themes. This one drinking glasses, vases with flowers, pineapples, pears, bowls of fruit, bunches of grapes, cherries and more.

Tag: none

Design: two bold green lines around the hem. One 3" one 1 1/2" wide. In the bands are printed fruits and veggies, and glasses, etc in white. There is also shading of black and darker green for shadowing on the items. Little flowers in center too.

Fiber: no tags but appears to be cotton as it is warm to the touch. .

Special features: gotta love the green. Not quite a forest or jade green, not quite a spring green, a little of all of them.

Age: 1950s

Colors: soft white cloth with spring green bands, black outlines and some darker green shading to imitate shadowing beneath the objects.

Hem is salvage on two sides, machine sewn on two sides.

Condition: very good for its age. No rips, tears or damage, but some coffee type stains, smaller (dime sized) and fairly light. An overnight soak in an enzyme cleaner like Biz or Oxyclean will get this sparkling.

An unusual printed tablecloth that is quite small, 26x32" and lighter cotton fabric. Could look great in center of larger table, diagonally on a smaller one, or in a larger hutch or buffet. Sweet little cloth.
