Vintage 1960s 1970s? Paragon Kit for a 66" Round Tablecloth
w/ 3 1/2" fringe all around! Twisted trim/fringe in gold color
made of "wonder cloth" that is "wear dated" guaranteed, never "worry about a stain again"

Kit includes directions, photo of a rectangular tablecloth and list of material needed (looks like this uses gold thread NOT INCLUDED)

Found this at a estate sale. Came out of a hoarder's home, she bought everything in great quantities, alas, only one of these, but really got some bargains. Too bad she never got pleasure out of using the clothing, linens etc. All had tags and/or where in original packaging. Kind of sad. So much stuff that the estate sale company will have sale running for 4 weeks.

Excellent unworked needlework kit for a 66" round tablecloth by Paragon in cream color with long gold fringe along the edge. Fringe is quite a surprise, never saw one of these with fringe already attached before!

Kit is Pargon and the hype is about how it will never stain etc. it is a blend of rayon and polyester. So I am guessing this is 1970s.

Includes printed stamped linen, easy to follow instructions and recommendations for thread colors, two colors of gold it looks like. Package has been opened. No thread included.

Size: finished size is 66" round with additional 3 1/2" fringe sewn all around.

Design: pretty creamy colored cloth with longer fringe, a circle of wheat in center and scattered wheat around edges.

Colors: cream and gold

Thread: to complete this tablecloth you need F252 gold (6 skeins) and F350 (8 skeins). Hopefully they are talking DMC threads via those numbers.

Condition: very good and unused. All ready to stitch. Although package is opened, it looks complete including instructions and tablecloth. Buying the thread is up to you. The directions look a little beat up but all there.

Great needlework kit to stitch in your spare moments.
