Vintage Machine Lace Trim 1 3/4" x 110" White Sheer Circles with Baby Blush Pink Ribbons woven thru
made by machine in 1940s 1950s
three separate pieces one is 1 3/4 x 288", second is 1 3/4 x 146, and last piece is 1 3/4 x 12"

Found a wonderful box of trims at an auction last week along with some linens from the same estate. Looks like a mixed group of 1940s and 1950s and some earlier that appear to have been taken off old pillowcases and linens.

Never used, this was wrapped on an old cardboard. Probably made from sheer nylon with machine stitching on all of the edges, it has a beautiful 1" baby pink ribbon woven thru it.    It is missing about 40" of ribbon on the longest piece but otherwise is in perfect shape.

Design: delicate and pretty design in machine made lace. Overlapping circles with embroidered edges form a perfect place to thread/weave thru some beautiful ribbon. Card that it was wrapped on does not give a clue where it was made and when. But it is gorgeous and lots of it here.

Size: three separate pieces
1.     1 3/4 " x 288"
2.    1 3/4 x 146"
3. 1 3/4 x 12"
Total = 446" of trim (with 40" missing the ribbon insert)

Lots of yardage here, approximately 19 yards of trim for your sewing/crafting pleasure

Fiber: no label, but from feel, it appears to be nylon, both trim and ribbon (and nylon ribbon is always beautiful, very silky texture)

Colors: soft white on the sheer trim, baby blush pink on the ribbon

Age: most things in the box were from 1900 to 1950s. I think these are from the 1940s or 1950s.

Condition:  very good for its age (60+ years)! Clean and ready to use.

Pretty  pieces of wide sheer lace for display or craft use. Delicate and pretty where ever you want to use it.
