Found some very pretty linens at last weeks estate auction.

Pretty flower theme going on this printed LINEN tablecloth. Beautiful bright red and jade green colors and smaller size so more places to use it.

Design: solid red square in center with small geranium flower buds. Outside border 6" wide with solid red border with lots of geranium flowers and leaves. hems are salvage on two sides, sewn hems on the other two.

Measurements: 46x46”

Colors: soft white background, bright primary colors, red and jade green. Great for the retro kitchen.

Age: 1940s 1950s

Fiber: this is either linen. Is cold to the touch with lots of slubs under magnification.

Special feature: I love geraniums!

Condition: very good for its age. Looks lightly used and washed a few times. A few light coffee type stains that should easily soak out in an enzyme cleaner like Biz or Oxyclean. Most of these are on the flower designs so are hard to see, but should easily soak out along with many years of storage dust.

Sweet sweet tablecloth with all those red and jade geraniums. Wonderful for a gift for your favorite gardner (or yourself).
