Auction Description

Deco Style Fireplace.

This is an attractive deco fireplace surround suitable for a mid 20th century house. Its in pretty good condition although there is significant wear and tear (hairline cracks in the glaze caused by the heat of the fire and wear, marks and chips to the hearth where fire irons etc. have been laid). If you like your antiques looking brand new this is probably not for you. If, on the other hand, you want something that looks original its ideal. Having said that please note that at the time of the photo the surround had only had a quick wipe down with soapy water, most of the black marks seem to be removable (or at least can be bleached white).
