Found some fabulous collecting books last month at an estate auction.

Beautiful hardcover 1989 book for collecting compacts from the 19th and 20th century. Such a wonderful assortment which includes some handbags which came with their own compacts. "Ladies' Compacts of the Nineteenth and Twentieth Centuries" by Roselyn Gerson. Total of 227 pages, published in 1989. Hardcover with dustjacket.

Wonderful reference book for you, prices are easily updated on line, but the information, photos etc, are excellent for learning a lot about ladies' compacts.

start off guide for various compacts (Whitig & Davis, Coty, Chatelaines, Dali, caryalls, newsworthy compacts)

Author is an excellent collector and very knowledgeable about compacts. Many many pictures, this is an wonderful book.

Condition: very good for its age. No rips or tears. Some wear to upper edge of dust jacket, bottom is perfect. Little glue mark on upper corner of DJ, from price tag. No bumping of corners. No writing, no folds or creases. Book is in beautiful shape, looks new.

Beautiful soft cover book that is a great reference. I got a bargain on these books (bought three big cases of collectables books) so am passing the savings on to you.
