This is an attractive 1930's deco style switch in mottled brown bakelite. It comes in two sections, the front panel, in bakelite, and a ceramic switching mechanism. This is a two way switch suitable for halls and landings where a single bulb has to be operated by two or more switches. These switches would have originally been mounted into wooden boxes set into plaster. They can be mounted in the modern metal equivalent but not on the surface of a wall. Design Registration No. 779743 = 1933. In very good working order, cleaned and checked for damage. Check auction quantity for number available.
