Presenting the 1959 Tournament of Roses Official Program. Tis a wonderfull piece of vintage pictorial memorabilia from the 1959 Tournament of Roses parade. This is the 70th annual presentation of the parade held in Pasadena, California. The University of California played against the University of Iowa Varsity Football Squad in the 45th Annual Rose Bowl Football Classic. Photos and text are printed in brown ink and a minimal amount in full color. Subject matter range from parade floats, the queen and her court, the football players, as well as city and parade officials. Also included is advertising from automobiles and many other businesses of the time. The magazine has average user wear and a tiny corner clip as seen in the photo. There are 40 pages including the cover and it measures 11 inches x 8 1/4 inches. Saddle stitch binding.
