6 Wine Glasses and Tray Great set for Holiday entertaining! Wine glasses measure approximately 4 1/8" tall and 2 1/2" wide. Hold 4oz to the top Excellent shape. No chips or breaks. Platter measures 10" diameter Little History: Tiara glass was marketed by Tiara Exclusives, a party plan business that began in 1970 and continued in operation until 1998. The company was owned by Lancaster Colony Corporation and the Tiara offices were located adjacent to the Indiana Glass Company, which was also owned by Lancaster. Some Tiara Exclusive products were also made by Fenton Art Glass and also by L.E. Smith. Some of the more limited pieces, such as the glass baskets, were made by the glass company Duncan and Miller. You still can find Fenton glass in gift stores and in stores such as the Cracker Barrel Country Stores. One popular item by Fenton is the colored glass shoe. |
