This an exceptional STANDARD CYCLOPEDIA OF HORTICULTURE BY L.H BAILEY VOLUME 6  S - Z AND SUPPLEMENT PAGES 3043-3639 FIGURES 3516-4056. These are in very good shape with some foxing. These have all different horticulture techniques at the turn of the 20th century. Originally published 1900. They copyrighted 1914 - 1916 for the set of six. The following includes description for the full set of six which is up for auction this week: Illustrated with colored plates, four thousand engravings in the text, and ninety-six full page cuts. A discussion, for the amateur, and the professional and commercial grower, of the kinds, characteristics and methods of cultivation of the species of plants grown in the regions of the United States and Canada for ornament, for fancy, for fruit and for vegetables: with keys to the natural families and genera, descriptions of the horticultural capabilities of the state and provinces and dependent islands, and sketches of eminent horticulturists.  These are very heavy and I will try to combine shipping with as many as possible.
