Anne Barron
...is a portrait artist, caricaturist and cartoonist working in a disparate range of styles and media. Finely detailed studies in pastel, pencil, watercolour or acrylics catch the light in the eye, a slight turn of the head, a shifting of weight, subtleties which build a picture of character, temperament and mood. Cartoons and caricatures provide light relief for the artist who enjoys all these forms of art in equal measure.

exhibited at the Winter Gardens, Sheffield as part of the
2006 World Professional Snooker Championships at the Crucible Theatre.
