Found a case of excellent sheet music at an auction this week.  All from same estate and all in pretty darn good condition for being from the 1920s, 1930s, 1940s and 1950s.  Beautiful photographs and graphics too.  Lots of color and design; silly to say sheet music is pretty but the photographs are so great on these!!. 

What to do with this "stuff"?  Well, I have a small half bath that I have decorated with early 1900 to 1930s sheet music.  I used inexpensive frames you can find at Joanne or Michaels just a sheet of glass, a board and clips so frames in about 30 seconds.   I do have a few matted and  framed, one is Fanny Brice, and that is gorgeous; you can go less expensive, or more expensive with framing.

This is from the 1929 Fox Picture "Why leave home?" with the famous (I say that sarcastically) song "look what you'e done to me".  Odd, there are three groups of young and gorgeous/handsome actors, but no IDs on any of them. 

Colors: orange, purple, and creamy white.

Design: large oval purple/grey picture of three pretty girls, two couples in separate photos, and no names for anyone.  Very bright and lively sheet music cover.

Five numbered pages (covers and two sided insert).

Special features: actors who did not insist that they be named on the sheet music!

Condition: good  for its age.  Split on spine, some scuffing on cover, fading, slight folding of corners and discoloration of page papers too. 

NOTE: I have two of these, the other has a much clearer photo BUT it is folded and torn in center.  I will list it separately, maybe.
