Auction Description
The scene shown on this lovely blue and white trivet is the home of President Coolidge in Plymouth, Vermont. As marked on the reverse side, it was made in England as part of the Souvenir Series by W. Adams & Sons for Ruth M. Aldrich. While plates in this series occasionally appear on the market from time to time, trivets are far less common and this one is a fine example. It dates from the 1920s and measures 6 3/4 inches in diameter.

Condition is excellent with no nicks, chips, or cracks of any kind. Other than the usual modest crazing under the glaze that you would expect to find, there are a few very fine surface scratches and one or two very teeny, tiny skip spots in the glaze on the top surface. These are smaller than a grain of rice and you have to look very closely at an angle to find them.

Domestic shipping costs shown include insurance. International shipping is subject to customs regulations and rates vary according to destination, so please contact us for your specific terms if you are outside the U.S.

To better manage our costs, we prefer U.S. dollar bank checks or U.S. postal money orders as method of payment. We are also pleased to accept credit or debit card payments via Google Checkout or PayPal. Kindly note that shipping for card transactions is necessarily restricted to your shipping address as furnished to us by them. Thank you!
