Old brass type button by London Badge & Button Co
2012 will not be the first time London has hosted the Olympics, it will be the third time.
Previous events took place in 1908 and 1948, but I will leave it up to the experts among you to decide which year this button represents.
One small metal button, possibly brass at one time or another but now looks more the colour of copper.
The button measures approximately 20mm in diameter.
On the reverse, it is stamped: London Badge & Button Co. Made in England

Sold as seen, I'm no expert on buttons but can guarantee 100% that it is an old salvaged button and I have cleaned it to the best of my ability.
