Here is a heavy transformer from an old APC unit. This transformer has 110 volt primaries and gives an unloaded output of 17.6 and 8.78 volts. By the size of the leads it will sink quite a few amps. This unit has the numbers E154515 and 430-2003A.11 on the top. This unit is tested and is in like new condition. Any questions, please ask.

Hello, Like you, I tinker with this stuff but I'm no expert. I arrived at the details of my transformer by powering it up and taking resistance/voltage readings. Its out of an old APC interruptible power supply. I would think yours is very similar to mine. So If it were me, I'd power it up and it will work or pop a breaker. I couldn't find any data on the Internet on my transformer so that's the only way I knew of getting the specs. Good luck. Bill N.
