Unusual - GREEN HERITAGE, EARLY - tea set - LEFTON
This is a gorgeous GREEN HERITAGE, EARLY TEAPOT (sometime called COFFEE POT), SUGAR AND CREAMER SET. This is a fancy tea set that is VERY UNUSUAL AND HARD TO FIND. The teapot is approximately 8 1/2" tall (top of finial) and 9 1/2" across from tip of spout to outside edge of handle. The sugar is approximately 4 1/4" tall (to of finial) and 4 3/4" across the handles while the creamer is approximately 3 1/2" tall and 4" across from the tip of spout to handle. All the pieces are decorated with gold around the scalloped tops and the elegant dark and light pink roses show off the ribbed design.
Each piece gracefully stands on 4 small feet and has the famous Lefton red and blue crown used 1956 – 1967. The beautiful tea pot has the number 510 on the bottom and the matching sugar and creamer has the number 511.
This set appears to be in EXCELLENT condition (MINT or NEAR MINT) as I can find no chips, cracks, crazing or gold loss.
