Found some wonderful books this week at an estate sale. Excellent cookbooks. All in beautiful condition unless noted.

Excellent hardcovered book from 1984, with 159 pages, by The newspaper Food Editors and Writers Association Inc. Published by Dial Press. These are taken from the food columns that the newspapers runs weekly and come from around the country.

This has all the charm of the 1980s with the kind of recipes we are told we should not eat anymore!

Includes recipes: German potato salad (Milw. Journal), Cinncinnati chili, Delmonico steak, King Ranch chicken casserole, Door county fish boil, Rhode Island crab cakes, colonial oyster and ham pie, Minnesota wild rice pie, Chicago Fish soup, and lots lots more.

Condition: very good condition for its age, with excellent spine, cover edges, corners and bright cover colors. No rips, tears or writing. Some of the corners were folded over by first owner. Shame!

A really neat cookbook that has so many regional recipes that we know and love.
