The Missing Link The Missing Link spent a year on the Wensleydale Railway where 20 staff and a 100 or so volunteers have brought the passenger service back to life on an old freight-only branch. They've leased the 22 mile line from Network Rail but their ultimate goal is to relay another 18 miles of track down the dale, offering transport benefits to locals and a new strategic link between the West and East Coast Main Lines.
