This beautiful Coral and Rose Quartz 1959 Dodge Royal Lancer is a great example of Virgil Exner's Flite Sweep design, and has 77,312 original miles. It has undergone an 18 month restoration process to near completion in my shop. The factory options are as follows: 295 HP 361 V8, Torqueflite transmission, Sure Grip rear axle, dual exhaust, fender skirts, dual antennas, spinner wheel covers, backup lamps, power steering, power brakes, power seat, air conditioning, Solex glass, day night rear view mirror, twin outside rear view mirrors, deluxe vinyl interior, clock, radio, and heater. 8389 of these were produced. Very few remain, and ever fewer in this condition. This car will only appreciate in value, and is one of the most sought after investment cars of its kind. The engine was rebuilt before I got the car, and has new freeze out plugs in the block. The camshaft, lifters, and valve springs that go with the car are Chrysler's 440 Magnum factory original parts. This will make it run a bit faster! A rebuilt four barrel Carter AFB on a mid sixties Chrysler cast iron intake manifold using a correct black 1959 air filter assembly is included. This would be correct for the 305 HP 361 optional engine. The original Stromberg 2 bbl carburetor, intake manifold, and air cleaner go with the car. The starter is fine, all it needed was a cleaning and repaint. The generator underwent a complete professional rebuild. The engine top needs to be reassembled, I did not have time. It was necessary to strip it to access the rest of the engine compartment, etc. The engine compartment has been meticulously detailed as original. Every bracket and component under the hood has been redone and is ready to install. One or two deteriorated a bit and should be repainted. The oil pump, fuel pump, distributor, and water pump were replaced previously and appear as new. Exhaust manifolds were removed, stripped, and painted with Eastwood's stainless steel coating. The heat riser flapper works fine. You get two new 1966-1971 factory hemi mufflers; you do need pipes. The transmission shifted fine, it requires nothing but fluid and a pan gasket. The driveshaft has been fitted with a new U joint, and the pinion seal has been replaced. The brakes were done previously and appear as new. The master cylinder and brake light switch are new. (not installed) You need a couple of new brake lines. I stripped the undercoating off the floor pans, rear axle, and frame rails. Any surface rust found was treated and then repainted and reundercoated. Frame rails wre excellent; I sanded, primed, and repainted them. Rear springs are new as are all 4 shock absorbers. The trunk floor appears to be solid, although there is evidence of a couple of small sheet metal patches near the wheel wells. I exposed these, reinforced them with fiberglass, then undercoated them. I did not remove the carpet in the trunk as it is glued down. The front suspension was cleaned and painted. Both bumpers were painted aluminum color inside. Both front wheel wells were stripped, cleaned, primed, and painted. Undercoating was used sparingly at the upper region only. The body required very little, the car was repainted previously. I did mostly detail spot work and some paint blending to the lower rockers where they wrap under the car and the occasional spot on the wheel openings which resulted from stone chips. I used chip guard on the rockers. Paint was also blended behind the rear bumper, which had not been removed when the car was painted. I removed it and completed the paint work to the corners of the car and the mounting brackets. The underside of the hood was also stripped and painted. Overall I would rate the paint on this car as a solid 8 approaching a 9. Chrome and trim are similar, the bumpers show normal wear marks for their age. Some NOS parts go with the car. There is a new horn ring and new reproduction interior lamp lenses. The interior is beautiful, looks like new. Door panels and carpeting are excellent. The dash and headliner, sun visors are beautiful. The A/C was removed before I got the car, it goes with the car. The glass is excellent. I have a big folder of pictures available on a CD, they won't all fit here. No serial number door tag, paint shop lost it. REASONABLE offers will be considered. Don't waste my time or yours with this half price stuff. I do NOT want full payment via Paypal, the fees are too much. NO foreign country buyers please. No fake banks checks, I've had that tried before.

It is still available, no
further work has been done.
Just no time for the project
right now. Should be an easy
job tho for anybody familiar
with mopars. I have the
factory parts manual and
service manual as well.
