This cyrillic iron on t-shirt transfer measures approx 18.5cm x 12cm. It has been folded in half & you can see it has been cut from a page - but this should not matter once it has been ironed on.
The word shown on the child's book (kasha) is a porridge commonly eaten in Eastern Europe. In English, kasha generally refers to buckwheat groats, but in Slavic countries, kasha refers to porridge in general, and can be made from any cereal, especially buckwheat, wheat, barley, oats & rye. It is one of the oldest known dishes in the Slavic cuisines of Eastern Europe, at least a thousand years old.
