Found some wonderful books this week at an estate sale. Excellent cookbooks. All in beautiful condition unless noted.

Excellent soft covered book from 1992 w/ 416 pages, it is packed with   wonderful recipes for cooking healthy food everyday.

Includes recipes for:

chicken & rice
pasta primavera
peach baked chicken on bulgur
Mediterraneaon salad
Mexican chicken
mock Russian dressing
Moroccan style eggplant & garbanzo beans
raisin oatmeal cookies
red cabbage and apples
Islander fish filets
orange roughy in citrus sauce
poached fish dinner w/ mustard dill sauce
buutermilk yogurt dressing
zesty Mexican chicken soup
old fashioned rice pudding

and lots more.

The author, George Mateljan, publishes healthy eating books, and is founder of Health Valley Foods. Lots of information on how destructive fat can be in the diet, he basically turns ordinary recipes into lower fat recipes, thus making them healthier. Interesting information on diet, nutrients, etc too.

Condition:    good condition for its age. Some smudging on the covers and because the covers are thinner, the corners are slightly bent (1/4"). Pages clean, white and flat. No writing or damage other than the wear to the cover.

Very good book with recipes for healthy eating with less fat. Good for all of us (put down the KFC wing)!
