BROWN HERITAGE FRUIT - unique cup & saucer – LEFTON
This is a beautiful BROWN HERITAGE FRUIT CUP and SAUCER by Lefton. This UNIQUE and HARD TO FIND set is decorated with a pear, melon, grapes and cherries on the cup and a pear, apple, melon, grapes and cherries on the saucer and both are trimmed with gold (some is sponged gold on the handle). The cup is kind of an eight sided trumpet shape one three legs. It is approximately 2 ½” tall and 4” across. The saucer is approximately 6 ¼” across.
Both the cup and saucer have the Geo. Z. Lefton signature on the design. They both have a red and blue Lefton crown used 1954-1956 on the bottom.
This set appears to be in EXCELLENT (MINT ?) condition as I can find no gold loss, chips, cracks or crazing.
