"Sheri Cooper Sinykin is the eldest of four children. She lived in one place (Sacramento, California) throughout her childhood. Like Heather, she took ballet lessons for a number of years, and she danced with the Sacramento Junior Ballet Company. Nowadays, she enjoys aerobic dancing. Ms. Sinykin is a graduate of Stanford University and has written over a dozen books for children and young adults. She lives with her husband and family in Madison, Wisconsin."
