One of the many books published between the 80's and 00's that give us an deeper insight on the creation and making of one of the most popular Science-Fiction television shows in history - Star Trek. This is a trade paperback second printing (November 1988) of the Trek Encyclopedia by John Peel (of Doctor Who fame), edited by Hal Schuster, and published by Pioneer Books. The oversized book contains 365 pages of informational reference material on not only the cast and crew of the series, but of the fictional characters, races, and more that appeared in the episodes. This is an informative and fascinating look into the history of Trek that will be sure to entertain fans for a long time to come.
The book is used, but in overall very good condition – it may never have been read at all and just sat on a bookshelf for much of its life. Both front and back covers show signs of slight wear around the edges and the spine, including a couple of creases. The spine itself has no creasing from reading. The pages show discoloration on the edges due to age. The binding remains nice and tight. Some lines (particularly the one running up the left hand side of each picture) are a result of the scanner used and are not actual marks or damage on the covers.
This is one of many Star Trek books we have available for purchase, not all of which have yet been listed on-line. Please see our About Me page on eBid and our
