This singlemode/ multimode Fiber Optic Visual Fault Locator, is a slim, pocket sized, 650nm visible long life, continuous and Pulse mode laser light source, used to locate breaks and mis-connections of fiber optic cable. Unit connects to cable via a 2.5mm universal connector port, compatible with SC, ST, FC connector types. This new version has been designed to offer optimum coupling into singlemode and multimode fiber, offering a range of 4 km or greater. Unit has a laser on indicator, and comes in a protective black EVA case.
